Job opportunity: Process Scientist
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Process Development Scientist with a strong background in biomanufacturing, preferably in DNA manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industrial experience in process development, a passion for innovation, and a desire to drive the development of robust and reproducible methods that can be validated for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and report experiments to develop, optimize, and validate biomanufacturing processes.
Contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes for DNA products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transfer of processes to manufacturing.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and documentation.
Adhere to GMP standards and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Troubleshoot and optimize processes to improve yields, efficiency, and product quality.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in biomanufacturing, preferably with a focus on DNA manufacturing.
Strong understanding of GMP and experience working in a GMP setting is a plus.
Proficiency in microbiology, molecular biology, nucleic acid chemistry, and purification techniques.
Experience with process development, optimization, and validation in a laboratory or production environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and efficiently.
