Revolutionizing DNA Synthesis

At Moligo we have developed a proprietary and patented Enzymatic Injection Molding Technology (EIMT) for large-scale production of long ultrapure single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) molecules.

Instead of “printing” DNA molecules as chemical approaches or other enzymatic DNA synthesis methods do, we mass produce DNA molecules  from sequence-verified “production templates” (our molds), using a PCR free in-vitro enzymatic technology.

The most common DNA synthesis methods are based on chemical approaches, which produce DNA with significant limitations in  length, purity, scalability, and complexity. Fermentation-based ssDNA production, another common method, also has disadvantages because it produces DNA with extra viral and bacterial sequences as scar sequences of the sequence of interest.

Our EIMT technology is based on scalable isothermal in vitro enzymatic reactions, which guarantee the industrial-scale synthesis of ultrapure, 10 Kb long ssDNA molecules, with any complexity and, when required, internal chemical functionalities.
